When it’s May in the Greater Philadelphia / Tri-State region, you start breathing easier. Winter has swept its snowy feet on the doormat of Spring, and Summer can’t be too far away. Goodbye snow, goodbye ice, goodbye Sauers. We’ll see you again next winter.
But wait! We’re just as happy as the next guy to see the trees budding and the crocuses blooming, but we’re not ready to say goodbye to anyone. In fact, we’re ready to do some serious business with you!
The best time to negotiate a snow removal contract and snow removal rates is from April to August. The snow removal off-season is our time to put away the equipment and get out the business books. We all know that no matter what kind of wonderful weather occurs during the spring and summer, winter will return. And after the winter we just experienced, you’ll want to take care of business now before another 40”+ snow season.
We want you to be prepared by contracting early so you get a reasonable rate on all your snow removal and ice management needs, no matter how many severe winter weather events occur next winter.
You can request a free on-site evaluation, and our trained crew will carefully look over your property and evaluate your needs and expectations for snow removal. If you already a Sauers customer, you’ll hear from us to review the season and adjust the snow removal contract based on your needs and requests. It is much better to get this done before the winter snows start falling! We’ll provide you with a detailed plan for the coming winter, and you’ll have peace of mind that you received the best rate possible. Every property has a different level of needs. When we evaluate your needs, we will talk about how you’d like to structure your budget.
Our common pricing structures run three ways:
- a seasonal fixed rate,
- cost based on inches of snow and number of treatments/ applications,
- and how much material and time are used.
We highly encourage you to select a seasonal fixed rate. If your business gets blasted by a particularly harsh winter, the fixed rate will save you a lot of money. Plus, you’ll know your snow removal budget in advance regardless of the amount of snow accumulation.
